Lighting Control
CueluxPro is an advanced and scalable lighting control application. The software is designed to control medium to large lighting installations, for both architectural and live-entertainment situations.
CueluxPro works in combination with the CueCore and IoCore as its DMX and IO interfaces, the B-Station is supported as a remote control unit. All devices are connected by Ethernet.
The CueluxPro software is available for download. The licence is included in the CueCore, i.e. each CueCore unlocks 2 universes in the CueluxPro software.
DMX-512 + Art-Net
CueluxPro is the ideal programming tool for your CueCore. You can create lighting scenes and dynamic effect and pixel mappings and then easily upload this to the standalone memory of the CueCores. If you have a multiple CueCore setup then CueluxPro will spawn the data across the devices. Also, CueluxPro will automatically create seamless loops when uploading a dynamic effect, e.g. a pan/tilt shape or a matrix effect.
Industry-standard cuelist system
The cuelist system in Cuelux Pro, used for programming light sequences, is analogous to the systems used on larger lighting consoles like Wholehog, or GrandMa. It features separate Delay, Fade in & Fade out timing and comes with a shape generator and programmer window.
MIDI Control Surfaces
Cuelux Pro offers plug-and-play support of MIDI control surfaces to provide you with low-cost ‘hands-on’ fader control. For example the Behringer X-Touch Compact is fully supported including feedback to the motorized faders..
Pixel Mapping
CueluxPro is equipped with a pixel mapper to control LED matrix arrangements. The pixel mapper contains algorithms for creating 2-dimensional effects and can also render external images and video file. Multiple layers can be used to blend effects in to each other or to independently control multiple matrix setups.
4500+ Personality files
Cuelux is shipped with a vast amount of personality files (sometimes referred to as ‘fixture profiles’) that covers all popular brands from Abstract to Zap Technologies and everything in between. Cuelux is accompanied by the ‘Builder’; our free-of-charge application for creating and editing personality files.Furthermore, Visual Productions offers a free service for creating any personality file that might be missing. Please refer to the Fixture Request forum for more details.
Sub-fixtures
Cuelux uses the concept of sub-fixtures. This means that some fixtures consist of multiple sub-fixtures, like a 10-channel dimmer rack is – in our terms – just one fixtures with 10 sub-fixtures. This also works for LED fixtures with multiple segments/pixels. In this manner the maximum of 48 will not be reached that quickly (you can add 48 x 10 = 480 dimmer channels). The reason behind the concept of sub-fixtures is that it makes patching easier; you only add the physical fixtures to your patch and you don’t have to worry about setting starting addresses per dimmer channel, or worse, per LED segment.
Cuety Remote
Cuety Remote is a phone app, it enables you to remote control the Cuelux software by triggering the playback buttons. It does not allow you to edit the lighting cues.
